The 90-place centre caters for 64 high care and 26 low care residents in a mix of single and twin rooms. Respite care is offered at both care levels and residents with dementia are catered for. No bonds are taken for high care and all residents have security of tenure and the ability to age in place dependent on care needs.

Resident comfort has been integral to the design and construction of the building. In addition to room controlled air-conditioning and heat lamps in the ensuites, all 90 beds are electronically operated. Colour co-ordinated drapery and linen add to resident satisfaction and create pleasant surroundings for everyone.

So that family can easily stay in touch, each resident has access to the connection of a telephone and internet service. They also have a wall mounted LCD television which is individually controlled from the bedside handset.

Lounge and dining areas on each floor have a garden outlook, and also overlook our central atrium which has a sensor controlled covering so it can be used even on wet days. On the ground floor, residents can see the chef and staff at work through the kitchen window. This all-new kitchen provides meals and snacks using the most modern equipment and procedures.

Willowood offers easy transport for residents and their families. It is only 10 minutes walk from Chatswood bus and train stations and 10 minutes from Artarmon transport.
